Hello, i'm an owner operator based and working in fl.
I have a dedicated route, about 2000 miles a week, when i started this job the fuel price was $2.18 to a one point as we all know the fuel price went up to about $4.00 in some places, the most of fuel surcharge i got was 8.25% of my revenue (about $270.oo per week) know since the fuel price is down the company is charging me 0.06% (about $20.00) on fuel surcharge, can anyone tell me if they can do that,if not whom in the state i need to contact.

Thanks for you'r help

Read your contract. If the f.s.c. is payed according to the contract you have no recourse other than to find a different carrier. If there is a discrepancy between what the contract states and what you get paid then talk to management. If that doesn't work hire an attorney.

you need to check your contract, make sure they dont have a clause in it that says the can do this, talk with them, then next call ooida, and you can always quit
