fuel pump-cargo vans

Just a quick question to throw out there. I have driven ford vans for the last 24 years and replaced fuel pumps every 100,000 and have been pretty lucky not to break down. I know have a 2003 GMC savannah with 200,000 and was told starting in 2003 a new type fuel pump was used. Has any had to replace a fuel pump in a GMC or Ford van 2003 and up? Thanks, marty

Fellas I worked with have had to replace them, but all had over 250000. My 2000 GM van went 400000 then it failed.

My experiences: 98 E-250 357,000 sold with original fuel pump.
2001 E-250 Lost fuel pump at 265,000 sold at 367,000.
2004 E-350 lost fuel pump at 230,000. At 435,000 removed center section of plywood floor. Cut trap door in factory floor. Replaced fuel pump though it was working good. Will replace at 200,000 intervals from now on.
