what is going on with fuel prices? i`m located in ri and prices have risen 40 cents a gallon today ! $1.71 per gal i`m told by a driver for global fuel tha tomorow it will hit $1.99 per gal. i know the weather is cold but this is crazy. just how high is it going ?

What is going on, I paid $1.83 a gallon on Wednesday over in New Mexico. Now you are saying it is going to go even higher than that. Anyone want to buy a D unit?

I saw it for $ 1.69 in the hillbilly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week it was $1.34. Tonight it was $1.65 at the same station, and they were in the process of raising it to $1.95 just as my husband was finished filling his tanks! This is in PA where it doesn't usually get that high! (We've never been the cheapest, but we've never had it that high before!)

I paid $1.45 in South Georgia yesterday and that is high for this neck of the woods.

When I was on that Dispatcher web site, I saw a link to find diesel prices across the nation. It breaks down the prices by region and national averages. It's only updated every monday.

www.tatravelcenters.com is another site for fuel prices. Sit down before you open their fuel price page. $2.269 in CT yesterday and one of my company guys said it was higher in NJ.

$2.29 a gal in CT? This fuel price crisis will not get attention until the airline industry starts increasing their rates. Where is the ATA?

Looks like a Hurricane is going to hit the Gulf of Mexico refineries. The price will go up while they panic and after the strom is over we will see how much production will be effected.
