The me first mentality seems to bite the average motorist in the ***. People who passed me while I was driving in that snow storm ended up in a ditch 4 or 5 miles ahead of me. But I didnt

When you have driven in bad conditions enough, you slow down and still get there. Sure, when it's sunny and the roads are dry, hammer down. But when the snow is coming down hard and visibility is nill, slow down and stay alive.

I stopped counting after I ran out of appendages, between Cedar Rapids and Harrisburg, Pa.

Oddly, the most accidents were in Iowa, which had the lowest amount of snow in that stretch.
