While sightseeing recently in Florida in a rental car,
we discovered a FREE beautiful public Beach with a 1200 foot
Fishing Pier and public restrooms.
Amazingly there was ample free parking where there were
several Bobtails parked...
Maybe they dropped their trailers at the Love's at exit 128, I-95
or the large parking lot across the street behind the BP, Waffle
House and McDonald's;
With either option; It is about a 8 mile drive from either
Truckstop to the East end of Seaway Drive where the Fort
Pierce South Jetty Park is located.
On the Internet; the Fort Pierce South Jetty Park boast public
showers, but all that we could find was a water hose along the
Pier which many folks were using to wash off the beach sand.
The closest business across the street from South Jetty Park;
Blue Water Beach Grill;
Bluewater Beach Grill
I could find this on Google Street View Maps which a shows the
South Jetty Park across from it, we didn't eat at the Blue Water
Beach Grill, but maybe next time.
