Form 2290 - Moved to November?

Was just getting ready to fill out the online Form 2290 and pay my annual heavy duty tax. Funny thing happened. IRS.gov says they do not have this year's Form 2290 available. Won't be available until, at the earliest, November 1st. Anybody have any additional info?

Our company said the forms are not available yet. That the IRS is not accepting the payments for 2290 yet. I think there was something about updating forms or something to that effect.

Hi all,

Please to do try and download Form 2290 until November 1, 2011, this form has been revamped for more information to be entered on that form.

Sorry for that, but it is comng under a new law. which we do not have a copy of
