Ford 6.0 Diesel

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with there Ford 6.0. I had a break down in my at 75,900 miles. Lucky for me it was covered under warranty. The high pressure oil pump went out, and then it took a bunch of stuff with it.

The total bill to Ford was almost $5000.00, and I had a $100 deductable.
I just wanted to see if anyone else has problems in their van or truck.

Hi,

Ford has suffered a myriad of issues with the 6.0 since it's intro on late '03.....

Your problem was just one of many others things from turbos to blown engines...I have sold over 100 of these units and my track record of replacements has been dismal.....

The good (perhaps bad) news is that the 6.0 is gone from Ford (Internatinal) forever...reaplaced by the new ..!!!improved!!! ....
6.4 liter International unit with the new 2007 mods.....
This engine is being introduced in the 2008 Super Dutys and the 2007 E-vans in 2007......
