If you love your dogs as we do, please check out this site concerning the proheart 6 injection for heartworm protection. We used this injection about a year ago and 2 out of our 4 shih tzu had reactions, one of them worse than the other, this is also the one that developed kidney problems. Just found this today on another site and wanted to pass it on, I had no idea this was going on, so glad we switched back to the monthly pills.

Wow thanks for that info. My dog Ladybird has been on that junk. She had had no reactions but she is 13 and I am not gonna take any chances will go back to monthly pills in March when she is due for another shot.
