anyone had unusual problems with their 87 octane? mileage drops, performance questions?

anyone else?

Have you switched fuels to see if the problem goes away?

And thats your new motor in there...intermitting injector problems?

I don't think it's the fuel if you have a no firing in #6....Didn't blow a plug? Wire burnt?

bad plug or timing is off....a bad sensor...

maybe your new engine just doesn't like J gas...I had a car like that...run like crap with a certain brand...

ran the original on j gas for many miles and no problem.

all new wires, coil packs and plugs when the first new motor was installed. techie is thinkin something along the line of injectors and is planning to run cleaner thru them. maybe i can go to work next week.

steady i had a code reading of the no. 5 cyl earlier and it was a sticking valve. i was thinking it could be the same thing this time.

maybe my truck just does not like the j fuel.

picking it up later. no repeat of the problem so we are going with bad fuel or maybe its just the 87 octane at the j.

ken, i used bp and shell that whole trip and when the 3/4 tank of j went in on came the light the next time i started up.

just gonna stay away form the j fuel.
