fleet owners?

If you are fleet owner and you pay for gas how do you pay it, what are the ways to do it safely? I know most people do 60/40 split driver pays for gas. Thats how I like it too. But some drivers wont me to pay for gas and get paid per mile. Any options that you know of?

If the owner is going to pay for gas/fuel, there has to be some sort of idle reduction in use. And the driver has to live in the freight lanes.

Yes I do he gives his drivers the option of him paying fuel and tolls or the drivers can pay for that

I would also think there would be issue with taxes as now that there is all most no right offs for driver and dose the owner withhold taxes an ss and workers comp
