Have any of you FL-70 owners had a problem with a temp rise since it has gotten warmer? I did. Had cold spots on the radiator core;I pulled the radiator. Took it to a reliable shop they checked it out couldn't even rod it out. I had to replace it.
Thanks Jimmy

Jimmy: Go back in the archives to page 4, to the discussion titled "3126 Running Hot." I think you will find out a lot about the radiators on these FL 70's. Hopefully you replaced the radiator with the correct replacement part!!! Be sure to read about the smooth tube and dimpled tubed radiators.

The stock Behr plastic tank radiators in FL's last 5 to 6 years under normal use, and then usually have to be replaced. There are a ton of shops that can fabricate a replacement to fit, but in many instances these radiators do not end up working too well for a number of reasons. I guess its $1100 for a radiator that works, or $700 for one that doesn't, take your pick:eek:
