First run stories...

The very first run I got, straight out of orientation, picked up near Pittsburgh and delivered at Union Square, Manhattan. The saving grace was the delivery time was 2100. I didn't really have a problem. Found the place after a couple of calls to dispatch for directions. But the customer tried to use my truck for a temporary warehouse after I got there. It was a new store display for American Eagle Outfitters and I was parked on the street. They would just come get a few pieces and go install them and come get more when they needed it. Calls to dispatch finally got me unloaded at midnight and on the way again. I had never driven in New York and only been there once in my life. I thought that was quite an icebreaker for them to give me.

And you lived to tell about it too! Our first run sucked. I don't even like thinking about it, but I would not trade it for yours. New York City is an icebreaker indeed.

East of Cleveland to south of rooster, oh in the booines, as soon as I was unloaded they dh'ed us up towards Sandusky, Oh and got a load to south east of Montreal - it was WAY up in this mountain. From there they moved us to Boston, picked up a load there going to Conway, AR. All this in less that 2 day straight from orentation.

My first load in April was a 2 stop American Eagle outfitters load in NYC .The first stop was Park Ave and the second was 2 blocks away. Since I could not turn left to the store, I had to make 3 right turns around Madison Square Garden when there was around 40 schoolbuses double and triple parked.
