FEDEX C.C. PUTTING ON MORE TRUCKS

I HEARD YESTERDAY THAT FEDEXX PUT ON 22 NEW TRUCKS...THERE RATIONALE??
EXPECTING ONE HELL OF A BUSY MARCH!!! WHILE THE REST OF US STARVE!!

Why question is, what do the drivers do if the freight doesn't pick up in March? Or is there going to be a war on for the lowest paid runs. May the bidding begain.

Last week I spoke with Cathy B. from contractor relations.She is one of the good guys and she said the fleet was down to 1175 trucks and they were going to start recruiting again in March.Apparently they have but they are not forecasting any busines upswing until the fall.They think that interfacing with the other Fedex Companies will result in more business flowing to Custom Critical..Remains to be seen.
