A recent article in the Los Angeles Times points up what is wrong with our White House, Congress, politicians in general, and federal employees. They don't pay taxes.
It's up to you and me, the "little people," to pay the cost of running this country.
We are all aware that Tim Geithner, who is in charge of collecting taxes, either doesn't know how to figure taxes, or as some would say, is a tax cheat.
We also know that Tom Terrific, not a member of the "little people," caste, didn't pay his taxes until being vetted for a big time democrat job of pushing Obamacare through the congress.
Now the L.A.Times reveals that as of the end of 2009, 41 people inside Obama's White House owe the U.S. government, that they are allegedly running, a total of $831,055 in back taxes. But let's go further.
In the House of Representatives, 421 people owe a total of $6,524,892. In the Senate, 217 people owe $2,774.836. In the IRS's parent department Treasury - 1,204 people owe $7,670,814. And on and on.
All told, federal employees across the nation owe $1 billion in back taxes.
