Express Cutaway

Hi, I am thinking of buying a Chevrolet Express G3500 Cutaway van. It has a 16' box with 4' of it that has a second seat that could be made into a sleeper and 12' of cargo area. I would like to know if you think this would be useable in this business?

I would go shopping for a carrier you might be interested in and discuss your equipment with there recruiting dept. What year are you looking at? That and condition are usually more important than shape. The color could also be something that might come up as many companies require white as the color of choice. It is a new 2004 and the color is white.

I've seen a few of those around.. Panther and Try Hours come to mind. I don't know who else would allow it.. but remember.. if it's dual rear wheel, those are usually 11,500 GVW or so, and you have to run log.

As long as you are looking you might want to check out a 4500 in that once you're loaded with all your stuff you'll still be able to carry a decent freight load (lbs wise). I think you might find the pricing to be not much different.
