My only personal experience with an expediting company is Fed Ex driving a D unit. My personal opininon with the company is less than favorable but I can say that they move tons of freight using all classes of trucks out of the Chicago area. If your close to there I would say it might be worth a B unit if you wanted to hot shot out and come back unauthorized. I doubt as much freight as they move from Chicago that they would let you sit. The only minus to this would be you might get and end of the day load or something funky but I would imagine that you wouldn't sit like the rest of us.The recruiter for Fed Ex lives in the Chicago area and is an ex army recruiter so if you explore this avenue wear your hip waders because the Barbara Streisand will get deep.
