it should not matter what crime happened in what state it is still a crime . i live in PA . so if i go to another state i do what is legal in PA in another state and find out it is a crime to do in that state . who should be at fault . oh that right it be my ignorance of the law . don't you think it might be their ignorance for a way to collect money . because i didn't learn all the laws for all 50 states . and isn't that why there is lawyers because the laws are to hard for a normal person to understand .

what was the reason that they came up with the CDL licenses ?? last i knew was so it be the same in all the states .

So money is deposited in your account by mistake and you dont report it and you turn around use someone elses money for profit ie interest , etc with out their permission sounds like theft to me

Reporting it is a fine thing. By all means, feel free to do so. You get the good citizen award.

But if you don't, as long as you don't spend it or dispose of it, you've done nothing wrong. When the bank says, "Hey, we made a mistake, that doesn't belong to you. We have to take it back," you say, "Okey dokey." No theft has occurred.
