driving for an owner $$$ question.

How much money should a new driver have in reserve to start out when driving for an owner.How long should he be expected to cover his expenses starting out before a check. This is something I have not seen discussed. Also when can a new driver expect to see his first check. Do they get paid weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. thanks for any input you may have.

Hi Trump,you will need to work that out with the owner you drive for i pay my driver every two weeks or so and if he needs some before that help him out,if he or she gives you a fuel card then you need cash for the tolls,eats,showers,misc,i would say about 200-250 a week. Keep in mind the bigger the unit the more the tolls are gonna be.
