What happened to the USA over the last 50 years? The 1960's. LBJ's Great Society. Abortion on demand. Proliferation in drug use. Break up of the nuclear family. Social promotion in public schools. Moral rot celebrated by television and movies. Mainstream media's never-ending push for left-wing ideology. Children growing up without fathers. Children growing up never knowing the truth that marriage has always been and can only be between one man and one woman. Children growing up in a nation so removed from reality that every word spoken by the transgendering Bradley(Chelsea) Manning is a "he said/she said" conversation.

Wasn't it Jesus Christ who said that we should blame the poor for their poverty and refuse to help them, because, hey, it lowers our tax bills by an unmeasurable amount? I might be wrong though, I'm not exactly a biblical scholar. <-- understatement!!!
Try separating cause from effect. Poverty destroys families and the last 46 years can be pretty much summed up as the Banana Republicing of America.

There really is no such thing as the greatest of anything. It's all subjective based on an individual's perspective.
Someone from Greenland will naturally think their country is the best and will have a bunch of reasons why. Same with most other countries.
Having pride in your own country (state, city, religion, political party, etc.) is natural.
Being blinded by your pride is dangerous. Being able to acknowledge good about others allows you to improve yourself and your ideals.
Hatred forces you to cling to your positions even when you really don't want to.

Pride and self esteem usually results from having worked for and accomplishing something positive, or creating something great. At one time this country stood for a set of principles and a rule of law that allowed individual freedoms and a standard of living never before seen in history. Nowadays there are no principles for our leaders except those that apply to political power. Give people something for nothing in order to gain votes; allow any type of illiterate riff-raff to come into the country illegally and give them the right to vote, drain our resources and balkanize our society. Hedonism is the guiding philosophy of the day instead of creativity, hard work and self sacrifice being the basis for providing the best quality of life for our families and our country.
Anyone who doesn't agree with this entitlement philosophy is labeled a "hater" or of being "intolerant". If one wants an example of tolerance, read the Bill of Rights and then compare what they provide with the individual rights that exist in Iran, Russia, China, or even the European socialist countries that our current POTUS holds in such high regard. In hindsight we see the damage that LBJ and his liberal allies inflicted upon the country, and wonder how we let that happen. There's no telling what our grandchildren will be thinking 40-50 years from now, or what their standard of living will be due to the damage done by Barack Hussein Obama and his accomplices in a corrupted media that sacrificed integrity for ratings.

What the resl problem is in my opionion is:
1. Instead of trying to find solutiions to the issues fscing the nation, BOTH sides like the talking points they bring and the value with bringing in votes. As voters, we are at fault for allowing our Nation to go down hill.
Im talking about reasonable results from our Elect with dealing with the serious isdues we face. The number one issue that I have seen is "Will I be able to afford to support my family, pay for my childs education, and will my money run out before I die?" Since 1982 when I casted my 1st vote, that election issue is still unsolved.
2. Our Government is a Republic, not Democracy. This means we have certain rules that cant be discarded due to majority rule. In our case it is the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and our beliefs out lined in the Declaration of Independance. The Government SERVES the people by handling the operationd of government and national concerns following the rule of law, wich shall not violate the rights defined in the Constitutiin and Bill Of Rights.
3. There us way too much abserdity with the fundimentals like Education, Foreign Policy, and Domestic Policy.
We have allowed the BS to grow to the levels we have now by overlooking the obvious and using the polling station to select the better of the two evils instead of a person that can deliver a resonable result. Can you believe how easily fooled and gulible people are to the empty promises of a Politition? Especially when the focus is taken away from the ability of a canidate due to popularity.
4. Empty words, excuses, and the finger pointing do little so solve problens and is a diservice to the peopke they represent.
We better wake up, and fast.
