Dingell Leaving?

John Dingell, congressman from Michigan since 1955, is making an statement today at 0930. Is he leaving office? Oh how I hope so!! It is long past time for him to leave. The only problem if he leaves is that in this district it is likely that we will either get his son or a really wacked out socialist.

On a side note on this bum. I sent him a letter over a year ago expressing my concerns on the damage my truck received while under control of the federal government. When we returned home yesterday we found a letter from him, telling me how to apply for a loan from SBA. It only took a year to answer. Not bad.

Well that sucks. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that he will run again. He most likely will win. More than 98% of his money will come from out of state. We will get another two years without any representation. Oh joy!!

That does suck. One can only hope for unexpected results in the election. If one was of the Wanda Sykes persuasion they could wish kidney failure on Dingell I guess.

I wish him no harm, I just wish him gone. Our government was not set up to have a "ruling class". One name and one party in this district for over 70 years. This is NOT good!!
