Will be in D.C. for the first time Friday morning. Where is a good place for a D truck to lay-over?

When we get to DC, we head to the J in Northeast, MD. Then we're right between Baltimore and Phili. If you don't want to dh quite so far, there's a small truckstop in Millersville, MD. It's about half way between Baltimore and Annapolis, but it's a lot quieter than the TA in Baltimore.

There's some nice rest area's on I-95 that are nice on the north side of DC... esp. the Maryland House or Chesapeak House. They call them houses instead of Plaza's. On the south side of DC down near Richmond area's... there's Colonial Heights with a mall, Golden Corral, and McDonalds - and a small fuel stop there as well, I think it's around exit 52, right around 52 on up to about 63 are some good exits here and there. Scope 'em out next time your up in that area. There's a couple decent exits on the north side of Richmond as well.
