I should have posted this before the event . It's an annual event though . I've never seen so many 40 Fords gathered in one place . Here's my favorite although it's a '39 .
David Pearson was the Grand Marshall and I got him to autograph 2 copies of his book "21 Forever" for me . As well as many cars from the 40's and 50's in both original condition and restored there were several restored NASCAR racers from that era that had been driven by the Flock brothers , Cotton Owens , and others .
All the cars and concession booths are lined up along Highway 53 in downtown Dawsonville with all traffic detoured around town for the 3 days of the festival .
