It was on the local news last night also, engine to be made in Columbus will add around 600 jobs. Production to start early next year. According to the TV this engine was developed for Chrysler corp but when they went bankrupt the plans fell through. Maybe this was to have been the Ram 1500 diesel engine.

If they add maybe 30" of wheelbase and 50" of overall length to the current model and if it can get well into the 2x mpg range and doesn't add more than a couple hundred pounds to the current model they'll have a winner.
