Anyone had cooling system leak and used Blue Devil to seal it? Maybe something better out there to use?
Archived back 10 pages in truck talk didn't see anything, also did a search. Thank you.
Hurrier you go the be hinder you get! Tom Tinker:)

Hey Tom,
You likely don't see anything or it would be limited as it isn't recommended that stop-leak products be added to a cooling system. I don't know anything about your specific product, but engine and radiator manufacturers claim that stop-leak products will clog other parts of the cooling system.

The problem with stop leaks is they seal up once they touch air. So if you have air in your system from an air pocket or what ever you will have a nice blockage somewhere. Best thing is to replace the problem and not patch it up. The problem will still be there and a matter of time before the rest of the system gives way. And you know it will give way on that nice long load from East coast to the West paying top dollar!
