I know that semi's can't go many places and have to stay on Interstates, State Routes, etc. What is the difference between a Class A and Class B truck route in weight? How are Class B routes marked (ie, street, avenue, road, country road, etc.)?
Usually there would be a sign saying No Trucks over x amount of tons. As far as I know I have never seen a map that breaks down roads by weight classifications. You can find restricted routes and low clearance locations in a Rand McNally map but nothing about Class A or Class B. These classes refer to your drivers license and not necessarily your truck size.
