As long as you're driving a Straight Truck and not a Tractor Trailor, a Class B is what you need.

In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, people take prozac to make it normal.[/font]

You should also take the test for the Haz/Mat endorsement. You can drive a straight truck with a CDL Class A so if you can apply and have the equipment for the A test,it could come in handy down the road.

Air Brakes endorsement is also required if you will be driving a truck with air brakes.

many states now require that air brakes are mandatory if application is for a B license. In many states you can have a C license if the straight truck is under 26,000 gvw.
This is soon to change as a new Fed reg is in the works that ALL states will require a air brake test for a class A & B license.
