I have been lurking in this forum for a while now, thinking about getting back on the road in expediting, even with all the negative opinions. I just found out I can't pass the DOT physical so I am now recruiting for a major truckload carrier. Before you quit reading I want you to know that there are a FEW recruiters out there that will tell it like it is, not the company BS the rest of them give you. I have been lied to by almost every recruiter I have spoken with in the expediting business. Having been on the road since 1967, I've got a pretty good BS detector and grip on reality.
Any of you that are truly fed up with expediting and still want to make a living on the road, drop me a line and I'll see if I can help. I do have a few dedicated and/or local jobs available in some parts of the country, as well as OTR and regional.
It's the way I feed my family now, just like driving is the way you feed yours.
Stay safe,
