I don't like the POS at all. If you turn down the volume so you don't have to listen 'home messaging' then you can't hear when something important comes on.(such as a load offer)
It's all there.
Let's try another, when you get the information for a run. 'A new message has arrived' ....what about 10-15 times. What IDIOT would have that into the system?
What I'd like to see is a program that would add a 'home messaging' every time the screen changes along with a 'new message has arrived' every time a new page comes up on every computer in the FED EX system, and see how they like it after a couple of weeks.
I could list a few more things about this POS.
It takes forever to 'boot up' I have to start the truck every time this thing goes to 'sleep'
When grabbing (holding the unit) I have to be careful not to push the button that starts the 'talking' feature. (that seems to be right where my thumb wants to go.)
The holder bracket is poorly designed. The 'snap' in and out, what a joke. The old one where the unit slid in from the top was sooooo easy a caveman like me could do it in the dark.
The icon that tells you have a message it so little and hidden you can barely see it. Remember the old unit had a red light on the top. You could see if you had a message if you were half a sleep with out your glasses (us old folks wear glasses)
The cord is too short, does not come back next to the bed. So someone has to get out of bed just to read a message.
Don't get me started about the logs.
I will just say this. How can anybody take something that was sooooo simple as 1 page, a graph and turn it into a muti page, muti tabs mess that takes several screens just to see all the information? One glance at a paper log and I could tell everything was done-there. Inspection, run #, notes, ???
