Canada Coming Out of Recession

The Bank of Canada has announced that the recession here should be over by the end of September with a slow steady growth going forward. They base this on the fact that our banking system is very strong and cash rich, increased consumer spending and the reduction in layoffs and claims for unemployment insc. We also have started to see an small increase in exports so a little freater demand for our goods overseas. Based on this it appears that Canada is going to lead the way out of the recession! If you believe these govt statements that is.

For us in this business yes we are seeing a little more work but it sure ain't anything great so far.

With the countries so well connected maybe Canada will help the US pull up abit.....after all it was Canada's strong economy that kept the US from a free fall earlier but it eventually caught up to Canada as well....heres hoping...:D

Definitely many US companies are benefiting from the Canadian sales. Right now it's not helping get production lines rolling as much as clearing out stock. Our vehicle factories are at least working part time and car sales are up a little.

I still believe that the expedite business will see increases in business in small leaps as companies try to meet increasing consumer purchases until the manufacturers get back up to speed. So many have laid off skilled workers I think they will suffer in meeting deadlines which is where we come in.

What the US and Canada require right now is for a lot of the companies who have abandoned both countries as a place to manufacture goods to return to making goods here again and then they can control the quality of the products. We should start a campaign to lobby those companies to do such. That would cure the recession.
