C@M Transport

Is there anyone out there running solo for C@M ? Ive heard they are a good company to work for. Im Experienced in Expediting and have a Class A CDL and have an opportunity to work for a fleet owner driving a class 8 truck. My? is ,I live in NC and like southern freight going in all directions but will I have a hard time getting home since C@M is in Northerm OH> Ive Heard the Carolinas are a hot spot for expedited freight now and like the idea of running in the south and midwest. Well, I faxed my aplication to C&M Transport today and hope this is the best step for me. I didn't get a response to my questions for some reason but I guess everyone was out makin money. Have a good day MikeG

Write to Broompilot. He moved there from Fed Ex and he really speaks highly of them. I spoke to him on the phone Friday and again he said he liked them.

Thanks raceman for your reply and info. Havent had time to get in touch with broompilot but I know there are few people that monitor this site that work with C&M. My main question still is ,how often can I get into the carolinas with them or are they a mainly up north sort of company for solos? thanks for any and all info and have a good day. MikeG

I have to add my agreement to talk to Broompilot. I am not associated with C&M but I heard about them and told him about them. He checked them out and went with them and has been very happy as far as I know. He's a stand up guy and will be straight with you about the good as well as if there's any bad. I don't know how often you will get to the Carolinas but we get runs in and out of there all of the time. C&M is the best company we have ever worked for this is the place we want to run with until we retire. We get good miles and good pay.
