buying a truck

Frank just wondering if you had any input on this situation, im going to be in the market to purchase a new or used truck and was wondering if its beneficial to pay cash and buy it outright or put a good size down payment down and finance it for 2 or 3 years, also is there any tax advantages for buying new vs used?

Also Frank could you explain the "Bonus " given for buying a new truck ? It looked to me by claiming the bonus last year I couldn't claim nearly as much depreciation this year .
