When I am home, I do a lot of parts runs, office supplies runs etc. These runs are mostly on one vehicle with proper odometer recording, date purpose etc. This year I added an odometer on my electric trike and am maintaining records as required, claiming the full 0.56.5 per mile. The problem is the accuracy of the trike lacks and reads much higher than the actual milage. I correct this based on GPS and note such in the ledger. Is this sufficient for the IRS and will the deduction for the milage on the trike hold up since in our state of Florida, it dosen't require tags/plates?

Am Sorry Bubblehead,

but the TRIKE IS NOT CONSIDERED A VEHICLE FOR PICKING UP PARTS, AND it must be actually a Registered and Taged Vehicle for mileage deduction
