So I'm sitting in the parking lot at the J here outside of Denver, and I just feel my van move. Look outside the window and a car is pulling forward on the right hand side. I got out because I thought he hit me and then I saw the scratch on my van. He then asks me what's wrong and I say, "you hit me man". He proceeds to tell me he didn't do anything and he has two witnesses(his 2 buddies that came 3 minutes before him). So I said no problem, I'll call the police and let them deal with it.
Cop arrived and asked me what happened, I told him the guy backed into me and he's saying he didn't. Cop checks out both vehicles and then asks him and his 2 friends what happened. The driver of the other vehicle says," that's an old mark, I don't think I hit him that hard".
It wasn't an old mark and he was confused as to why he got a ticket for saying "I didn't hit him so hard"
The funny thing about this is, I wouldn't have even called the police or got a police report if the guy just admitted to hitting me and apologized.
