I don't know which surprised me more today (besides the fire).

The story making National News, or when I told my sister, who is just 4 years younger, Never heard of Boblo Island or the Boat Still trying to figure out how that's possible growing up here

Prior to going to Boblo Island I was terrified of, and refused to ride, roller coasters. Giving in to peer pressure from my friends, I reluctantly, rode my first roller coaster. Haven't been able to keep me off them since

Yup, just how I remembered

Had a blast one summer when I was young. A coworker had a bunch of complimentary tickets for Boblo. Gave them away. Must have went there at least once a week for a couple months. Took the boat over to the island. Went on rides and played games all day and then took the boat back. Music and people dancing. A neat little set-up Boblo had back in the day.
