Winter storm wallops southern Ontario - Canada - Canoe.ca . I've been in the Customs parking lot in Sarnia since 5 a.m. yesterday (Monday) . No telling when the 402 will open.

Crazynuff....stay warm and hope it opens soon. That 402 can be vicious in the wintertime with those open highways and drifting snow. Be safe!
It sure won't be soon . It's 1 p.m. and the bridge and highway are still closed . They are letting some cars cross if they aren't going past the first exit . They are using helicopters to rescue stranded people on clearing the secondary roads to try to get some trucks moved .
Update . They are still concentrating on rescuing fools that tried to ignore ample warning . They are using snowmobiles and helicopters . Plows won't even start while the snowmobiles and plows are working . People rescued are being brought to a shelter in Wyoming . Very likely their vehicles will be towed there .
