All the best insurance cannot stop stupid. Your in the right, green is the light, you never let up and you barrel on through, you didn't look to check and now your in a wreck. OK, just because you have the right of way does not mean much if your dead now, does it? Nor do we think about the disabling injuries caused by auto accidents. Now there is another can of worms. Being disabled and getting disability income from social security is not gonna happen in 2 weeks or in 4 weeks, rather 6 months to a year , plus lawyers, plus your medical bill keep piling up and so on. Yes insurance by law will get you on the road, but that is the easy part.....the after shocks of being injured is a real trip and your insurance guy, he disappears as soon as the vehicle is totaled out or you are totaled out. Note: if you can afford it, disability income protection maybe your best friend.
