Once I apply at a carrier, how long does it usually take to get pre qualified?

The time it takes for previous employers to provide information can affect how long it takes for the Carrier to make a decision. This is something that is usually out of the control of the Carrier you applied to.
The present workload in the recruiting department at the Carrier you applied to will vary based on the number of applications they are presently working through.
Services such as DAC, the MVR service providers and the PSP reports usually are returned to the
Carrier the same day.
You should really get an answer from the Carrier, under normal circumstances, with a day or so.
Be leary if you are hired on the spot. IMHO.
