I have some Friends who Live Next to the Ohio Turnpike In Swanton Ohio and They are watching the Remains of a Big Truck Accident around the 48-49 mm. From what they Tell me a Big Truck Possibley a Swift Had a Blow Out and Laid the Truck On It's Side where an Explosion or Loud Bang was Heard with a Large Fire Immediatley Thereafter. From what they Are Told is that the Driver Never Made it Out! What a Sad Reminder that says to be Real Careful Out There and Keep a Constant Check on those Tires..I will Update as soon as they Call Me Back!! :(

We work in a dangerous profession. It is our duty and responsibility to insure that our equipment is in safe condition. We owe that to our selfs and the public in general. It is a sad day when a driver is killed.

UpDate: It Was a Swift Truck Hauling Jose Quervo, Apparently when the trailer Ripped Open Then The Alcohol started to Catch Fire.. The Driver Was a Solo Driver and according to Witnesses, One of the Tires Blew Out and The Driver Tried to Save the Truck when It Ran Along The Guard Rail and Under A Bridge, The Trailer Ripped Open Causing the Truck to Roll Over on It's Side Trapping the Driver. Driver was Pronounced Dead at the Scene.. What a Sad Day! :(

Bad news. This should make us all think twice about those pre-trip inspections and keeping an eye on tires when the weather starts to get hot. Not saying this guy was negligent, but it only takes a couple of minutes to cruise around the rig before starting out or whenever we make a pit stop. Everyone be safe out there!
