i bought a 2004 fl-112 from alumibunk in nov. 03. it has been a nightmare from day one. they took 13 days to install the reefer unit supposedly to white glove specs but it doesnt work right and they know why, they put the wrong evaporator unit in it (two fans instead of 4). they refuse to pay to have the right one installed even after three different carrier shops have evaluated it and agree this is the problem. they refuse my calls. emails, faxes, and the salesman who sold it to me has even quit because of so many customers getting screwed buy them. Whatever you do DO NOT BUY FROM ALUMI-BUNK, I promise you will be sorry. i could list for hours all the problems. just hope i can save someone else all the grief.

I hear so many negative things about Alumi-Bunk and not any of it on this forum. There is a reason for that but I do not work for EO and/or get paid by EO and I will express my personal opinions and conclusions that I formed from all the negative talk I hear. To give AB the benefit of the doubt I did ask and was shown things that could possibly back up the claims of the complaining people. I am not a lawyer so I can not help anyone other than to give you advice and make suggestions on what you may be able to do.

This web site was designed and became a reality of one mans dream of supplying information and providing help to others in the expediting sector of the transportation industry. That means the good – bad – and ugly truth of the matter – any matter pertaining to expediting. We all must realize and respect that EO maintains and survives by the advertising on this site. Please keep that in mind.

Normally I would have deleted this post and ended up pissing off one member of the forum rather than to allow that members personal life’s experiences be expressed on this PUBLIC FORUM. As of late I have heard to many complaints and have pissed off to many members complaining about Alumi-Bunk. I am not saying the person making negative claims about AB are true Therefore I will not delete this post so AB can in fact provide proof that these claims being made are in fact not true. There comes a time when everyone must take a stand for what he or she believes in and I believe that if AB is indeed doing what is being said by their customers then it should be known to everyone involved in the expediting industry. Then to if the claims being made by Alumi-Bunks customers are in fact false then AB has ever right to defend themselves and prove these negative claims are false.

I will monitor this thread and make sure everyone who does post will do it in a professional manner.

Sterling! I deleted your reply to this thread, because I don’t think we need anyone throwing things out there and taking sides. Most of the people that are making claims surely know what to do, and if they don’t then I’m sure they will ask for help. This thread is that sensitive and I will not allow anything unnecessary to be posted. The poster wasn’t asking for suggestions, he was merely stating his beliefs

I am trying to decide between two trucks one of which is with Alumi-bunk. I am finding them to be very pushy, the salesman has "choosen" a truck for us even though it is not what we want. The salesman insists this is what FedEx wants me to have. Somethings not right in Detroit. Your message has made up my mind, we'll be headiing for Georgia
