I would love to get into this. But I do not know where to start, I would like to drive a van over the road. How do I get started, who do I contact? I would like to drive for someone first, before investing money into it...........So Please help me!!!!!!

My advice to you is to call the different expediting companies listed on this site and talk to their respective recruiting departments. Most companies will maintain a list of drivers looking to run for owner operators, some have vans. You may wait a while before there is an opening, and your location will be a big factor in the odds of getting a call to drive for an owner. Most owners look for drivers that live close to them so they can check on their equipment once in a while.

Thank You for the help, I am willing to move back to Michigan if it will help my chances, so where I live won't be a problem. I have gotten a call from PantherII, and since I have never had any accidents or tickets, have never done drugs, so I have never failed a drug test, or been to jail, I hope this will help me.
