I have a 2018 Roll Back Wrecker with less than 60k on the
clock. If it is idling for longer than 5 to 10 minutes, the
AC will drop out. Shut the AC off, wait 15 minutes, turn it
back on, and it works fine like nothing ever happened.
Usually every time a car is being loaded on the deck, the AC goes
out for at least 15 minutes. If it is running down the
interstate, the AC will work uninterrupted for hours. Once
you stop to offload the car though, you can count on it not
working.
