60/40 split

Whomever gets the 60% usually pays for fuel, tolls and so on. The owner pays for maintenance.

Sixty to the driver helps both driver and owner; the driver learns how to save fuel and drive more gently while doing so, and that leads to less wear and tear on the truck. That helps the owner. It also gives the driver business skills they can use after buying their own vehicle.

Too many variables to say for sure. BTW, I own my own van. For vanners, not a whole lot to go around. For straight trucks, it's a wise way to start :)

I had another fleet owner contact me today with a 40/60 split and they pay everything! Leased with Panther just gotta weigh my options!

If you just want to be a steering wheel holder, 40/60 is the way to go, IMO.
