2013+ Freightliner Cascadia Expediter

Anyone on here owns a 2013+ Cascadia Straight Truck with the DD13 engine and Eaton 10 speed Ultrashift?
How do you like it? Any issues with the Eaton? What is the fuel mileage?

I am looking at what's available on the used market in the event my truck needs replacing, and while I would like the DT12 transmission, I cannot find a used one. All I looked at have the Eaton.

I have a friend who has this set up in a M2 setup and he hasn't had any issues. He don't idle it all the time and has a Apu on it. Hope this helps

I had one when I drove for ES. We got 10 mpg governed at 65. The Tranny was nice. Takes a little getting used too if you never drove that kind of Tranny but we had no complaints. Had it with 75K to 300K. Only changed the antifreeze and oil and filters of course but nothing major.

Actually it was closer to 11mpg.

Your Welcome. Spoke to my team driver. He said we went thru one set of front brakes too. I don’t remember that but as far as the engine there was nothing that went bad when we had it.
