I'm assuming you're referring to P244B, which sets when the DPR graph reaches ten bars. Is it at ten bars? Did you pull this code out of the dash?

The reason this set is there's a burner issue, or its cries for a manual regen were ignored. BCU codes cannot be read from the dash. There's a good possibility it set a P2030 in the burner.

The burner needs to be evaluated. This needs to be done immediately or the soot level in the DPF will raise to a point where it can't all be removed by regeneration. It'll have to be removed from the truck and baked.

The burner should be evaluated by someone familiar with them. There are many things that can go wrong.

Injector health plays a big role in burner reliability, and can effect regen frequency. A quick and dirty check of historic DPF temp can give you a pretty good idea of injector health. If the historic high DPF outlet temp is in the high 14XX range or higher, the injectors will need to be replaced before the DPF has a meltdown. This can only be checked with appropriate software.
