2004 ct365 or 2004 c7 m2 style which is better

I'm looking at a couple of new straight trucks and was wondering if there are any known problems with the ct365 hooked up to an automatic in an intrnational 4200 and a c7 m2 style hooked up to a manual in a freightliner fl80.I just walked away from a 3126 in a gmc topkick after dumping 9000.00 into and still having the problem reoccur so i don't want any problems for a while. Thanks for any input i can get

The CAT C7 and 3126 are one in the same- new name, same old engine.
With International, I would look for something with the DT466 inline 6 at minimal and avoid the T444/365 parent bores for a straight truck.
