Does anybody know anything about this ? Ontario is pushing to require all carriers operating in the Province to govern their trucks at 105kmh . They say it will reduce tailgating and improper passing . They better get out from behind their desk and ride in a truck going 105 kmh on the 401 and explain safe passing procedures . If a truck going 100 passes a truck going 95 , before he halfway has a safe distance to pull back in a 4 wheeler will pass on the right . Trucks will clog the right 2 lanes and 4 wheelers will run up the left lane until just before their exit then try to jump across 2 lanes of trucks . I have already had a car come to a dead stop in the middle lane in front of me when they came from the left lane at their exit and couldn't maneuver through tailgaters in the right lane . Too many Canadian truckers don't even allow a 2 second interval between them and the vehicle in front of them .
