    my first time in laredo, unloaded, didnt even leave the gates when the phone rang. pick up down the street, going to barstow, CA. couple hours from home. interestingly enough, every time i go down there, i get loaded quick. i never drop my rate either. longest i've stayed was two days. never DH...

    i thought that it would be double brokering. because, if broker gives carrier a load. carrier gives leased van the load. that van is owned by a carrier. i've a lot to learn. and the more information i fill my head with, the better off i am.

    so if i become a carrier, and i own my van, and i begin to load owner operators leased to me, yet at the same time, i am leased to OTHER carriers who load me, its not illegal? but depends on terms set by each carrier...? just to be sure i understand.

    quick question. can a carrier own vans, and load those vans, and simultaneously lease those same vans to different carriers? or is it; once a van is owned by a carrier, that van can only run for that carrier?
