I was looking at some other forums, (forgive me) but it appears in Europe, there is a super single for the 3500 Sprinter. I can't help but wander why they don't have these options here in the states? That being said if it was an optional wheel here in the great US of A, with a lil body work...

Pretty clean set up on the site below, could be a viable option to gain a lil living space in a domestic cargo van. Tractorman70 1st in Van High Top,Van Raised Roof, Hightop,camper top,turtle top,bubble top,conversion van top.

Turtle, In your experience/opinion would you recommend starting out in this business in a sprinter or a cargo van? I realize everyone has there preference, but if I remember correctly you had a ford first then went to the sprinter. With that knowledge and if you could start over...

I'm not an electrician by any means but it appears to me that unit is meant for use while the truck is in operation and the batteries are being recharged "if you will". My limited knowledge of such things tells me running this one off of batteries solely is gonna take a lot of batteries. :o

Turtle, I was looking over the Camping World site, and saw they have many a selection of roof mounted A/C units that run on 115 AC. My question is, could one of those work with the right battery pack and inverter set up? Some even have a heat strip that can be added as well. Thanks...
