2 skids vs 3 skids, how often in van

A promaster is not expensive to repair at all.The main components (3.6 engine and trans) are used in a ton of mopar vehicles.

2 skids vs 3 skids, how often in van

That's where trust comes into play. I've found many times I get a load ahead of a 2 skid van due to the shippers request for 12' only to find it's 1 or 2 skids due to not having enough parts ready or them just playing it safe.

2 skids vs 3 skids, how often in van

In my experience I've run a lot more 3 skid or 11-12' loads over the past couple of years than before that. I don't know if shippers are being smarter (that's a stretch) or it's just happened but it's enough that I would recommend the length where in the past not so much. I have no hard numbers...

I need a sprinter mechanic in the Kansas area. No dealerships. All recommendations appreciated.

When my duramax was tuned I was given an obd code reader that not only stored the code, but the original stock tune was also on it and could be reinstalled. Do you have anything like that?

    Cargo Van GMC van maintenance

I had the same van but a 2011. It ran synthetic oil from new, changed every 10k. Wasn't a fan of the 4.8 I found it kind of unrefined especially next to the 6.0 but it did the job without any big problems. The 6 sp trans is the potential weak link as it's not as durable as the old 4 sp. Mine...

    Transits are selling like Hotcakes

That stinks. On the plus side they upped the GVWR on the 2500 to 9100# and are bringing back the excellent 4 cyl diesel for the 2500 and 3500 extended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
