When I installed my TV I had bought a plane type antenna and mounted it on top of the van, It did not work very well.Went to a pilot somewhere and seen a mirror mount rabbit ear type antenna for 10 bucks and I said what the hell..Got a moment and mounted it on the gutter of the van and it works...

I have a 06 express 3500 extended I mounted 2 2x6 along each side of the van right behind the seats,then took hangers and placed them at 24,36 and 48 inch marks..I use 2x6 as the bed frame then 1/2 plywood on top... Then i have 4 inch memory foam and a matteress topper..with this type of set...
